After the success of the first season of Poison, ZEE5 has come back for a second outing with Poison, bloating an all-new cast and production team at the helm. ZEE5 released a teaser for Poison Season 2 on August 12th revealing the date for Season 2 to be in the month of October.
A few months ago it was reported by multiple sources that ZEE5 had been planning to postpone the release of Poison Season 2 again (with reported initial postponement back in April 2020) due to production budget and constraint issues in part to COVID, and the latest teaser has revealed those rumors of further postponement to be false by stating October as the month to look out for.
Poison Season 2 Cast
Being produced by Ekta Kapoor and written by Rehan Khan, Poison Season 2 is all set to feature a completely new cast. Being led by Aftab Shivdasani in the lead role marking his digital debut along with Raai Laxmi, followed by the likes of Rahul Dev, Vin Rana, Zain Imam, Asmita Sood, Karan Veer Mehra, Pawan Chopra, and Joy Sengupta, etc. the cast of Poison season 2 seems to be shaping up to be an all-star roster.
Poison Season 2 Plot
The story for Poison season 2 will be an original one not linked to the first. It is however set to be a revenge story similar to Poison Season 1, ensuring the themes and suspense of the two seasons stay in check. Just like the first season, the show will be tackling the themes of revenge and vengeance, and how these two poisons all the people partaking in it, both the victim and the culprit.

The teaser released on the 12th of August has revealed October to be the month of release for Poison Season 2.
