Nicknamed as the comedy actor of the Bollywood, the protagonist of Akshay Kumar ‘Housefull 4’ has launched today amid criticisms not so favorable. The fourth installment of the successful comedy franchise of Housefull series had a great buzz prior to the release behind it due to the extensive promotions of the star cast of the ensemble and its viral songs.
Housefull 4 Day 1 collection
‘Housefull 4’ has had a good opening of around 35-40%. Considering the previous release to Diwali, the opening is very good since the films that are released the weekend before Diwali are generally not good due to the festivities. According to the report on Boxofficeindia.com, the opening day is in progress to beat the best pre-Diwali openings in recent times.
‘Housefull 4’ has also registered a solid advance of around Rs 9 crore. However, the actual takeoff of the film will start on Monday, which is also a holiday. The crowd has been going to theaters on the first day with places like UP, Rajasthan and Bihar recording good numbers, however, there could be a drop in the collection in the next two days before the movie begins to be collected on Monday.
The film premiered on around 3900 screens. But the film probably has between 600 and 700 short screens due to the three-way clash with the protagonist of Rajkummar Rao ‘Made In China’ and the protagonist of Bhumi Pednekar-Taapsee Pannu ‘Saand Ki Aankh’. However, both films are not a competition for ‘Housefull 4’ in terms of collections, but they do reach the screen space. Both films have been opened to boring collections. ‘Made In China’ is a film based in Gujarat and the region is particularly large in Diwali.
‘Housefull 4’ will see a strong weekend, although it may see a fall on Sunday, as it might not grow much due to Diwali. Directed by Farhad Samji, ‘Housefull 4’ boasts of a star cast that includes Akshay Kumar, Kriti Sanon, Riteish Deshmukh, Kriti Kharbanda, Bobby Deol, Pooja Hegde in the lead roles. The film arrives today on the screens on October 25.
