Soon after his latest release Hippi, Kartikeya Gummakonda is back with his new film. Looks like he is coming with a mass masala movie this time. The actor who made his debut with Rx100 has gained a lot of eyes in the past few months.

Directed by debutant Arjun Jandyala, Guna 369 is a film filled with romance, action, and drama. Looking at the trailer, the film seems to be a take on the ‘Factionalism’ like we have seen in Jr.NTR’s Aravinda Sametha recently.

Considering his latest movie, Hippi, being a flop, Karthikeya will want this film to be a commercial success. Also, this film becoming successful will also mean that Karthikeya will establish himself as a mass hero which will help him in the future. So did things turn out well for him? Is the film ‘massy’ enough? Let’s see

Guna 369 Movie review and rating

This movie falls under the category of commercial films. The film deals with a character who is in involved in fights with faction rowdies. How the hero gets deals with this is the rest of the movie.

The best part of the movie is the love story. Scenes between Karthikeya and Anagha LK are a treat to watch for couples. The chemistry is beautiful. However, the film is more focused on the action part. Comedy also finds its place in the film thanks to the character played by comedian Mahesh.

Chaitan Bharadwaj, Who also composed the music for Karthikeya’s debut film Rx100, is one of the biggest assets to the film. His songs and background score are a perfect mix for a movie of this kind. Cinematographer Ram Reddy has also done his part well.

Guna 369 has all kinds of action sequences and songs. If you are a fan of commercial cinema, then this is a movie tailor-made for you. The film also doesn’t have any competition from mainstream Telugu cinema other than Bellamkonda’s Rakshasudu. So the film is expected to run well over the weekend.
