Darbar has been doing great in terms of box-office collection and the film has been well-received by the long-time fans of the Superstar Rajnikanth. For quite some time, critics have been pointing out that the second half of the film isn’t as compelling as it was expected from the director.

Darbar is a massive success despite stiff competition
Several reports are suggesting that Darbar’s box-office collection is affected due to competition from films like Sarileru Neekevaru, Tanhaji, Chaapaak, Ala Vaikuntapuramlo, among others.
Darbar is the brainchild of A.R. Murugadoss which features Superstar Rajinikanth in the lead role. In addition to this, Darbar also features Nayanthara, Sunil Shetty, Nivatha Thomas among others in notable roles. Lyca Productions has produced the film and it is made with a budget of ₹200 Crores.
