The Indian Hindi-language drama film “Chaapaak” directed by Meghna Gulzar and produced by her as well as Deepika Padukone in collaboration with Fox Star Studios, hit the big screens of the country on 10th of January 2020.
Based on the life of Laxmi Agarwal, the film features Deepika Padukone as an acid attack survivor, alongside Vikrant Massey.
The film has given a good performance at the box office in its first ten days of release and has been able to make a net collection of Rs 31.88 crores.
While the movie earned Rs 28.38 crores in its first week of release, it earned Rs 1 crores, Rs 1.2 crores and Rs 1.3 crores on its eighth day, ninth day and tenth day respectively. Thus, the estimated total net box office collection of the film Chhapaak comes out to be Rs 31.88 crores.

The film made a Net collection of Rs 31.88 crores and Gross collection of Rs 37 crores from all over the country.
The film has also collected Rs 47 crores from all over the world while the overseas collection made by the film is Rs 10 crores.
Chhapaak’s 10 Days Occupancy in Theaters
On the tenth day of the film, the theaters have been occupied by 12.95% in the morning shows while in the afternoon shows, the occupancy was of 22.36%.
In the evening shows, the theaters have been occupied by 32.72% while in the night shows, the theaters have been occupied by 15.69% .
The overall occupancy of theatres for the film Chhapaak on its tenth day of release and on its second Sunday, that is, on the 19th of January 2020, is 20.93%.
