Some major army troops movement was witnessed in Jammu Kashmir in recent days. Rumors were fast spread that something’s going to happen that will have widespread consequences.

The Modi led Bhartiya Janta Party government removed the provisions of Article 370 of the Constitution of India, which gave Jammu Kashmir the status of a special state. All the provisions of Article 370 are removed except one. Almost the entire presence of the article is nullified.

It is anticipated that after this decision peace will be restored to it’s fullest.

Jammu and Kashmir Now a Union Territory

Jammu and Kashmir are no more a state thus forward. The status of a separate state is snatched with the scrapping of Article 370. Now Jammu and Kashmir are given the status of a union territory. From now on Ladakh is also not a part of Jammu and Kashmir. it is given the status of a union territory too.

Amit Shah announced in the Rajya Sabha that, Article 370 will be scrapped with immediate effect. Shah added that this step is taken keeping in mind the internal security situations of the state, and the ever-increasing thread the border nation is imposing.

Faith Of The Bill In The Houses Of Parliament

The bill is still to be presented in both the houses, the Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha. The government has appropriated majority in both the houses, do the bill is almost certain to get the green flag.

Response From The opposition

A mix response can be seen from the opposition, the Indian National Congress was against this motion, while BSP, YSR Congress, TDP, TRS, SAD, AAP was standing with the government.

The strongest of the opposition came from Mehbooba Mufti, the ex-Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir. She stated that this motion is against the Constitution, and her party will not accept it at any cost.
