‘Alice in Borderland’ was such a massive success, it was loved by people so much and earned some good ratings and reviews. Also, the last season was left at a cliffhanger which increases the chances of the renewal of ‘Alice in Borderland’. Season 2 can be expected to release by the end of 2021 or early 2022.

The lead role in the series is played by Kento Yamazaki. Ryohei is reprised by Kento is a teenager and is madly in love with video games. Daikichi and Chota are friends with Arisu and they come across a mysterious woman named Yuzuha Usagi. She is finding her lath.

  3. After the release ‘Alice in Borderland’ made it to the top 10 in over 40 countries.
  4. The scene of deserted Shibuya Scramble Crossing was not shot in Shibuya, it was shot in Ashikaga city which is a film set around 100 km away from Shibuya Crossing.
  5. Aso says that both lead characters were based on him. Arisu showed his indecisiveness while Usagi shows a side where he was independent and did not look for other’s approval.
  6. Japanese VFX company Digital Frontier has to visit the zoo to observe and feel the movement of the animal and its fur to create the black panther in episode 4.
  7. In the Shibuya scene, everything except the ticket gate was created with CGI.
